Behind the lens is where you will find me in my element! I consider myself a photographer driven by a passion for capturing life's fleeting moments. From the vibrant energy of a big romantic wedding to the quiet intimacy of a lifestyle newborn session, I believe every image tells a story!
My journey with photography began with a little Nikon I got for Christmas, I was beyond excited to use it and started with simple scenery - flowers, seashells on the beach, and colorful sunrises. Over the years, I've honed my skills in wedding and lifestyle photography with some of the best clients, always striving to create images that are both crisp yet creamy and capture all the emotions of every moment! I now shoot with a Canon R6 as my main body and a Canon EOS 70D as my backup body.
When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me spending time with my beautiful little family! I am a fur mama to 2 pups - Tucker and Bandit! I love family time at home, adventures to the beach, joyrides and roadtrips, and the occasional weekend at the drag strip when I get the chance! By day, I am a Preschool Teacher and Assistant Director at a child care facility in Goldsboro, NC. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2021 with a Bachelors degree in Child Development and a minor in Composite Natural Science. I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina, with Goldsboro being the central hub, and home for us now is in the little town of Grantham, NC. This life is busy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!
My goal
As a photographer, my inspiration springs from the quiet moments. It's the way a moment's expression can tell a whole story, or simply the timeless beauty of human connection. I'm drawn to the subtle narratives hidden within ordinary scenes, seeking to capture the essence of a place or a person, to freeze a sliver of time. A moment. An emotion. Ultimately, my inspiration lies in the constant exploration of the world around me, searching for those unique perspectives that transform the mundane into something extraordinary. My goal transcends simply capturing images; it's about freezing moments of life and transforming them into timeless visual narratives. I strive to illuminate the beauty hidden within the ordinary, whether it's the subtle play of light on the face of your loved one or the raw emotion of a candid moment. My goal is to be a storyteller, and I would love to tell yours.
